2. Apply a thin layer of Aquaphor or Hustle Butter 3-5 times a day for the next 30 days or until skin returns to its pre-tattoo condition.

3. Stay out of sunlight and tanning booths until the tattoo is healed.

4. Do not soak a tattoo in a tub, sauna, jacuzzi or go swimming while your new tattoo is healing. Showers are fine (not scolding hot).

5. DO NOT RUB or PICK the treated area while it is healing. Loss of color and/or infection could occur.

6. Extreme sun and exposure over the years can and will fade your tattoo. This can be minimized by using a strong sunscreen, at least SP25.

7. Your tattoo should heal in 4-5 weeks. Consult a physician if any signs or symptoms develop such as redness at site, green/yellow discharge (foul smelling) and/or fever.

8. Do not listen to your friends about the healing process of tattoos! Please contact your artist should you have any questions at all.

A tattoo is a medical procedure, and as any other type of wound, if you do not take care of it adequately or by the recommendation of your artist it can cause adverse effects and healing. The entry waiver you signed when getting your tattoo asks a multitude of questions about her skin and health for this reason.

Each artist has their own touch-up policies and are by no means subject to that of another with our team. If the artist feels that poor healing of a tattoo is the result of poor/naive aftercare, the client will be charged should they want to get that touch up.
